Description
Saddle-Stitch Booklets are made from sheets folded together and held with staples along the spine. People use them for catalogs, brochures, pamphlets, program guides and other multi-page marketing pieces. Every booklet is printed in full color on the front and back of each page.
Sizes and Page Counts
Sizes: 5.5" x 8.5", 6" x 9" and 8.5" x 11".
Page counts start at 8 and go up in steps of 4. The cover is always 4 pages, and the rest are inside pages. The 5.5" x 8.5" and 8.5" x 11" sizes go up to 72 pages. The 6" x 9" size goes up to 40 pages. The 8.5" x 11" size also comes in a 4 page version.
Paper Stock Options
Inside pages can be 100lb Dull Book, 100lb Gloss Book, 100lb Gloss Cover, 100lb Matte Book, 60lb Premium Opaque, 70lb Premium Opaque, 80lb Gloss Book, 80lb Gloss Cover or 80lb Matte Book. Book weight stocks have a lighter feel. Cover weight stocks are stiffer.
The cover has its own stock choice: 100lb Dull Book, 100lb Gloss Book, 100lb Gloss Cover, 60lb Premium Opaque, 70lb Premium Opaque, 80lb Dull Book, 80lb Gloss Book or 80lb Gloss Cover.
Coating Options
For the inside pages, choose one of these:
- Uncoated: a natural surface you can write on.
- Aqueous Coating: a water-based layer that helps against smudging and fingerprints.
- Satin Aqueous Coating: a low-sheen finish.
- Full UV On The Color Side(s): a high-gloss coating over the printed surface.
The cover can be coated separately with Aqueous, Satin Aqueous or UV on both sides.
Binding Edge and Quantity
Binding is saddle stitch. Choose whether the booklet is bound on the long edge or the short edge. Quantities run from 25 to 25,000.
